Trump Media, Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition Corp. have scrapped their planned CRO-treasury venture tied to Crypto.com’s Cronos blockchain and halted a related services deal, citing changing market conditions and shifting priorities. Yorkville’s Truth Social ETFs will continue. The partners also scale back plans to embed Crypto.com’s prediction markets in Truth Social, instead pursuing a marketing agreement to promote those products. The moves fit a broader strategy simplification under McGurn to monetize Truth Social’s data and expand the API business, with a potential merger with TAE still on the horizon for year-end.
