Starfield's Free Lanes Update Expands with Terran Armada, New Gear and Cruise Control
Starfield's Free Lanes update is the game’s biggest in over a year, adding free content across platforms (including PS5) and tying into the paid Terran Armada expansion, which brings a new questline, locations and crewmates. The free patch revamps gear with X-Tech crafting and legendary modifiers, adds 20+ weapons and armor pieces, introduces the Moon Jumper vehicle, the Chateau Des Etoiles house, and Milliwhale the new pet, plus Anchorpoint and other new POIs. A new Action Figures system grants passive bonuses, and Cruise Control lets you autopilot to destinations while you tend to your ship, with Terran Armada offering substantial extra content for a $10 upgrade for non-Premium players.
