DIY Maker Tru Narla Launches Pochi! to Sell Whimsical Hardware Like a Taco Bell Compass
Former software engineer Tru Narla is launching a consumer hardware company called Pochi! after gaining fame for creating colorful, retro-inspired gadgets. Her latest projects include a digital compass that points only to Taco Bell locations and a flower-shaped camera, challenging the industry’s trend toward minimalist, rectangular designs. Narla aims to merge engineering with art to create personalized devices that feel playful and human, moving away from AI-generated generic solutions.
