
Russian Cyber Expert Detained in Kazakhstan Amidst International Tensions
A Russian cybersecurity expert, Nikita Kislitsin, has been detained in Kazakhstan and is wanted by both the United States and Russia. Kislitsin, an employee of F.A.C.C.T., is being considered for extradition to the United States based on undisclosed accusations stemming from his time as a journalist and independent researcher. Additionally, he is wanted in Russia on charges of unauthorized access to digital information. The Russian consulate in Kazakhstan has requested that his extradition to the United States be delayed.
