Chuck Lorre’s Memoir Reveals He Was Fired from 'Cybill' After Clash with Shepherd
In his new memoir, 'Sitcom,' Chuck Lorre claims he was fired from the 1990s sitcom 'Cybill' after a conflict with star Cybill Shepherd. Lorre alleges Shepherd underwent a personality shift during Season 2, demanding total control over production aspects and forcing him to take notes from her trailer. Shepherd previously attributed her difficult reputation to bias against strong women, while other cast members acknowledged on-set challenges.
