Makar, a two-time winner, had 79 points in 75 games and helped Colorado win the Presidents' Trophy and Jennings Trophy while logging big minutes; Werenski finished with 81 points in 75 games, led defensemen in shots, and is trying to become the first Blue Jackets player to win the award.
