Team Ruff won the 2024 Puppy Bowl with a narrow victory over Team Fluff, marking their fourth win. The event featured 131 dogs from 73 shelters, including six with special needs, and a chow chow/American Staffordshire terrier from the US Virgin Islands. The purpose of the chaotic skirmish is to get each participant adopted, and the event was supervised by referee Dan Schachner, who also plans to adopt a puppy named Whistle. Despite the small "field," the Puppy Bowl requires a massive 100-person crew and a team of animal wranglers and vets.
