South Carolina adds transfer pitcher Daniel Parker from Coastal Carolina
South Carolina landed a transfer commitment from Coastal Carolina right-hander Daniel Parker, who will have three years of eligibility and follows new coach Kevin Schnall to Columbia. Parker appeared in 19 games (two starts) for Coastal Carolina as a freshman in 2026, posting a 3-0 record with a 4.76 ERA over 34 innings, and recording 32 strikeouts against 21 walks. A Hartsville native and top South Carolina recruit, Parker is expected to bolster the Gamecocks’ pitching staff in Schnall’s first portal class.
