Athletics place Soderstrom on 10-day IL with hip impingement
Oakland placed Tyler Soderstrom on the 10-day injured list with a left hip impingement (retroactive to Aug. 15) and recalled Darell Hernaiz. Manager Mark Kotsay said Soderstrom will see a hip specialist and could miss the rest of the season. The 2026 line so far stands at 19 homers with a .245/.338/.472 slash across 453 plate appearances, as the A’s endure a tough year with a league-worst record and a 13-player IL list.
