Nationwide Kiwifruit Recall Issued Due to Listeria Contamination
David Oppenheimer and Company I LLC is voluntarily recalling one-pound clamshells of organic green kiwifruit due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The affected kiwifruit, grown in New Zealand and repacked locally, was sold in several states between June 14 and July 7, 2023. The recall was initiated after routine sampling by the Kentucky Department for Public Health. No illnesses have been reported, and consumers are advised to discard the product and contact the company for further information.
