Nebraska Honors 2026 Hall of Fame Class: Seven Husker Icons Across Multiple Sports
The University of Nebraska announced its 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame class, featuring six former student-athletes—Matt Hopper, Cassandra Leuthold, Dean Steinkuhler, Taylor Edwards, Amber Holmquist, Ineta Radevica—and volleyball head coach John Cook. Collectively they earned numerous All-America honors, NCAA titles, and seven national championships, while Cook posted a 722-103 coaching record. Induction is Oct. 2, with recognition during the Oct. 3 Nebraska–Maryland football game, and the honorees will be permanently enshrined on the Hall of Fame Plaza.
