Sydney Sweeney's The Housemaid Sequel Targets December 2027 Release
The Housemaid’s Secret, the sequel to Freida McFadden’s The Housemaid, features Sydney Sweeney with Michele Morrone and Kirsten Dunst joining the cast. Lionsgate will release it on December 17, 2027, with production beginning later this year. Paul Feig returns to direct, Rebecca Sonnenshine reteams as screenwriter, and Lionsgate aims to launch a franchise around the Christmas release window.
