Zelda's Adventure gets a Game Boy demake after infamous CDi release.

A fan has created a demake of the poorly received 1996 game Zelda's Adventure, originally released on the CD-i, for the Game Boy. The demake was created by programmer and graphic designer John Lay during Covid lockdowns and has received positive feedback. A fan has created a Game Boy demake of the CD-i flop Zelda's Adventure, which is widely considered the worst Zelda game ever released. Developed over 14 months, the game is a complete port of the original and includes music composed by Beatscribe. The fan game is available to play on a Game Boy emulator or in-browser, and is probably the best way to experience the odd and barely remembered piece of Nintendo ephemera. The developer has no plans to demake the other two Zelda CD-i games.
