Dennis Haskins, the Voice of 'Saved by the Bell's' Mr. Belding, Dies at 75
Dennis Haskins, the actor who portrayed Principal Richard Belding on the 1990s sitcom 'Saved by the Bell,' has died at age 75. His agent, Jay Schachter, confirmed the news on Monday, describing Haskins as a 'great person' who deeply valued his fans. While the specific cause of death has not been officially released, a tribute from Dimples Karaoke in Burbank, California, revealed that Haskins had been battling Parkinson's disease for the last eight years. Haskins, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, appeared in nearly 90 episodes of the original series and its spinoffs, becoming a cultural icon through his catchphrase, 'Hey, hey, hey, what is going on here?' He is survived by his son, Dustin.
