Derby chaos in Prague as Slavia vows lifetime bans after abandonment
Slavia Prague’s chairman vowed lifetime bans for fans who invaded the Fortuna Arena pitch as the Prague derby against Sparta Prague was abandoned in stoppage time, with a Sparta goalkeeper Jakub Surovcik assaulted on the field. Slavia will close the north stand indefinitely until those responsible are identified, and two Slavia players who were sent off during the match will never play for the club again. The LFA and clubs will decide whether the game is replayed or a Sparta victory is awarded, which could alter the title race.
