Chadwick Boseman’s brothers Derrick and Kevin have filed a lawsuit to remove his widow, Taylor Ledward, as administrator of the late actor’s estate, alleging she has not distributed roughly $3.8 million in assets to his parents since a 2022 court order and continues to exercise unilateral control. They claim Ledward has not fully accounted for assets including royalties, residuals, IP rights, and other property, and that Chadwick Boseman, Inc. has profited from his name. The suit seeks transparent accounting and a distribution of 25% of the estate to each parent (Ledward currently holds 50%), following Boseman’s 2020 death without a will.
