Sony to retire PS3 and PS Vita digital storefronts by 2027, with early regional closures
Sony said it will shut down the PS3 and PS Vita digital stores globally by July 2027, with regional closures kicking off in August 2026 in Mexico, Honduras and Nicaragua; existing purchases remain downloadable for the foreseeable future as Sony shifts resources to newer platforms.
