Two Dead in Solano County I-80 SUV Crash
Two people died in a single-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 80 near the Highway 113 interchange in Solano County after an Infiniti SUV veered off the roadway and hit an embankment on the right shoulder. The 56-year-old woman from Dixon, who was driving, died at the scene, and the 65-year-old man from Vacaville died in an ambulance en route to the hospital. A witness said the driver appeared to be asleep; investigators have not determined whether drugs, alcohol, or a medical issue were factors, and the crash remains under investigation. Identities have not been released yet.
