Georgia duo charged in dismemberment death of Atlanta-area bartender Jamal Parker
Georgia man Mario Barber (46) and Brittany Baker (42) have been charged with murder after investigators say they killed Jamal Rashad Parker (37), a bartender and musician, in a home outside Atlanta in Douglasville; Parker’s dismembered remains were found in the Dog River Reservoir about 30 miles from Atlanta. Investigators noted Baker lived at the Douglasville home and that officers were seen leaving the residence with a reciprocating saw and cleaning supplies. The suspects pleaded not guilty and are being held without bond; Parker’s family, including his father, have urged severe punishment.
