
Tar Heels Women’s Lacrosse Earn No. 2 Seed, Host NCAA Tourney Opener
UNC women's lacrosse earned the No. 2 seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament, entering 16-1 after winning the ACC regular-season and tournament titles, and will host the opening two rounds at Dorrance Field. Friday, May 8 at 5 p.m. features Clemson vs. Davidson to set UNC's second-round opponent, with the Tar Heels hosting Sunday, May 10 at noon in the second round (potentially the quarterfinal on May 14 if they advance). The program owns a 46-22 NCAA Tournament record under coach Jenny Levy, with 14 semifinals appearances and four national titles, including last year’s undefeated season. Tickets for the rounds go on sale May 4, and parking/fan guidelines are provided.
