Florida logs back-to-back executions as last meals surface
Florida carried out two lethal-injection executions in one day—the first back-to-back death sentences in nearly a decade—with James Duckett, 68, and Dominick Occhicone, 80, dying within hours of each other after appeals were denied. Duckett’s last meal was eggs, grits, bacon, biscuits and chocolate milk; Occhicone requested eggplant parmesan, a salad, garlic bread and a Pepsi.
