Human trafficking investigations lead to multiple arrests and coach placed on leave.
Midland High School teacher and girl’s varsity basketball assistant coach, Douglas Hampton, has been placed on administrative leave with pay by Midland ISD, following his arrest for solicitation prostitution outside of school district property. Hampton was one of 24 arrested in Lubbock Police Department’s human trafficking operation.
