Larry Birkhead opposes Anna Nicole biopic, cites harm to Dannielynn
Larry Birkhead says he objects to the upcoming biopic Trust Me, I’m a Doctor about Dr. Sandeep Kapoor’s role in Anna Nicole Smith’s death, telling Entertainment Tonight that using Smith’s life in a movie is harmful and that he has even filed a complaint with the California Medical Board to block Kapoor’s participation; he notes his daughter Dannielynn, now an adult, would be affected and he’s spoken out against the project, which stars Kal Penn as Kapoor and Abbie Cornish as Smith and is based on Kapoor’s 2017 book; the film is set for a October 16 release.
