Grand Seiko has released the SBGW325 'Arabic Blue,' a 600-piece limited edition priced at $5,800, which modernizes the 2001 SBGW003 with a deep indigo dial and silver Arabic numerals. The 37.3mm stainless steel watch features the manual-winding 9S64 movement, a 72-hour power reserve, and a hand-dyed indigo crocodile strap. While the design honors the brand's 25th anniversary of the 9S caliber, critics are divided on the unconventional numeral choice, with some praising its boldness and others finding it jarring against Grand Seiko's typical faceted indices.
