FaceTime adds Dual Capture to show front and rear cameras at once in iOS 27
iOS 27 enables FaceTime's Dual Capture on iPhone 17 and newer, letting users simultaneously stream front and rear cameras during a call; activate it via the Flip button (you can disable the front cam with a second tap), with the default keeping the front camera active when the rear is used. The feature requires both participants to run iOS 27; older iPhones will see the Dual Capture stream from others but cannot contribute it.
