Twitch Unveils Dual Format for Simultaneous Desktop Horizontal and Mobile Vertical Streams
Twitch announced Dual Format, a feature allowing creators to stream in both horizontal desktop and vertical mobile layouts at the same time, with server-side transcoding for Partners/Affiliates, expanded 2K (1440p) streaming, improved notifications and Stream Summaries, Auto Clips with captions, and new creator tools, plus SEPA-payout currency exchange improvements for euro-zone users; the rollout begins next month ahead of TwitchCon Europe 2027.
