Photos obtained by TMZ show the extensive damage caused as she swerved off the road, striking a median, crosswalk sign, and a tree, leaving tire marks on the grass and taking a chunk of bark from the tree. An off-duty LAPD officer and a passenger were killed when their car was struck by a BMW traveling at over 100 mph in a possible DUI crash. The 20-year-old driver was arrested and booked on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter. Three other people, including an off-duty San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputy, were hospitalized. The officer, survived by his fiancée and two young sons, had just under five years on the job.
