DOE Awards Recognize Promising Researchers at Leading Labs
Three scientists at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab) and a faculty scientist with a joint appointment at Berkeley Lab and UC Berkeley have been selected to receive funding through the U.S. Department of Energy's Early Career Research Program (ECRP). The program aims to support exceptional researchers at the beginning of their careers, providing funding for their research projects. The Berkeley Lab awardees will be working on projects related to developing next-generation light sources, advancing superconducting magnet science, understanding chemical dynamics in renewable energy applications, and controlling the chiral properties of materials through light-matter interactions. The ECRP funding will help these scientists make significant contributions to their respective fields.
