Teens Arrested for Hitting East Rochester Police Officer with Stolen Car

Several teens were arrested after hitting an East Rochester police officer with a car stolen from a dealership. The burglary took place at Vision Kia and the suspects fled in a stolen vehicle. The officer was hit by the stolen car but continued to apprehend the suspects. They fled down West Linden Road before crashing. Another stolen vehicle hit the Techniplex and crashed near West Commercial Street and Main Street. All suspects were between 13 to 15 years old.

Unlicensed teens in stolen Kia hit East Rochester officer.

An East Rochester police officer was struck by a stolen Kia while responding to a burglary-in-progress call involving teenagers between the ages of 13 and 15. The officer parked his car to block an exit and was assessing a third stolen Kia when the teens sped off in the two original stolen cars, striking him in the process. The officer was taken to the hospital but has since returned to work. The teens were given an appearance ticket and released to their parents.
