Sarasota Restaurants Score Michelin Guide Nods
Three Sarasota restaurants earned Michelin recognition in the Guide’s statewide Florida rollout: Lucky 8 received a Bib Gourmand for its modern Southern cooking; Focaccia Sandwich + Bakery and Tralia were named Michelin Recommended. Bib Gourmand honors quality food at good value, while Michelin Recommended notes high-quality spots vetted by inspectors. Lucky 8 showcases Cajun-leaning dishes like crawfish bread pudding; Focaccia highlights house-made focaccia and a prime rib sandwich; Tralia serves sourdough and Detroit-style pizza along with other Italian-American fare. This marks Florida’s first statewide Michelin coverage, expanding beyond the Tampa/Orlando area to Sarasota.
