Home Depot’s EcoSmart Granules Offer Plant-Based Ant Control for Lawns
Home Digest highlights EcoSmart, a plant-based insecticide available at Home Depot, as an eco-friendly solution for removing ants from lawns. The product uses natural oils like clove and thyme, which studies suggest can disrupt ant behavior. A 10-pound bag covers up to 5,000 square feet and requires no watering to activate. While marketed as safe for children and pets when used correctly, users in wet climates may need to reapply after heavy rain. The product holds a 4-star average rating from over 95 reviews.
