Einride to deploy 500 Tesla Semis in landmark US fleet expansion
Einride will deploy 500 Tesla Semis for Amazon across five states (California, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, Georgia), boosting its electric-truck fleet from ~250 to ~750 with first deliveries next month and phased deliveries over 24 months. The trucks will be managed via Einride’s Saga software for routing and charging. Financing is through third-party arrangements, with an estimated hardware cost of $130–$145 million and about $800 million in potential annual recurring revenue under joint plans.
