
El Paso Walmart Shooter Ordered to Pay $5.5 Million in Restitution
The gunman responsible for the deadly El Paso Walmart shooting, Patrick Crusius, has agreed to pay over $5.5 million in restitution to the victims. Crusius, who pleaded guilty to federal charges, reached an agreement with prosecutors, and a federal judge approved it. The identities of the claimants remain sealed. Crusius targeted Latinos in the attack, with at least eight Mexican nationals among the victims. He has already been sentenced to 90 consecutive life sentences in the federal case and is still facing a state trial where prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
