Leafs land Andrae and Ersson from Flyers in Woll-Benoit swap
The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired defenseman Emil Andrae, goaltender Samuel Ersson, and a 2026 third-round draft pick from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for goaltender Joseph Woll and defenseman Simon Benoit; Andrae had 13 points in 61 games last season (20 career points in 107 games), while Ersson went 14-11-5 with a 3.12 GAA and .870 save percentage in 33 games this year.
