Henry could climb to the all-time rushing throne, per Emmitt Smith

Derrick Henry, 32, is playing at a level that could let him challenge the NFL’s all-time rushing yard record. Emmitt Smith says it’s possible, noting Henry’s size and durability. Henry currently has 13,163 career yards and trails Smith’s 18,355 by about 5,193, meaning he would likely need around four more seasons (roughly 84 games) at about 62 rushing yards per game to reach the top spot, with proximity to other legends like Dickerson and Bettis along the way.
