Rivian's Dual-Motor EVs: Extended Range and Impressive Capabilities
Rivian has launched its new Enduro drive unit, a fully integrated platform with a new dual-motor system that boosts the range of its electric vehicles. The in-house designed Enduro drive unit allows the R1T pickup truck to tow up to 11,000 pounds and the R1S SUV to tow up to 7,700 pounds. The dual-motor setup also provides efficient four-wheel torque vectoring for off-road adventures. Additionally, the new design increases the range of the R1T to 410 miles and the R1S to 390 miles, with a software-enabled Performance Dual-Motor option available for faster acceleration.
