Oklahoma secures $1 billion solar factory investment from Enel.
Enel North America has chosen Oklahoma as the location for its 3 GW solar panel and cell factory, which will be one of the largest in the US. The factory will be built in Inola, Oklahoma, and construction is set to begin in fall 2023. The factory represents a planned investment of over $1 billion and will create over 1,800 construction jobs and 1,000 new direct permanent jobs by 2025. Enel North America already has an office in Oklahoma City and more than 2 GW of renewable energy generating capacity in Oklahoma.
