Israeli Entry Procedures Simplified for U.S. Citizens Residing in Gaza
The Government of Israel has announced new entry procedures for U.S. citizens registered as residents of Gaza. U.S. citizens who have spent more than 50 percent of the last five years in Gaza can apply for a permit to enter Israel for business, tourism, or transit for up to 90 days. Those who have spent more than 50 percent of the last five years outside of Gaza can enter Israel for business or tourism purposes for stays of up to 90 days without a visa. U.S. citizens denied entry or experiencing discrimination can contact the American Citizens Services Unit at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem or the Embassy Branch Office in Tel Aviv.
