Thai court condemns two Uyghur men to death in Bangkok shrine attack
A Thai court, after a decade-long trial, sentenced Uyghur men Bilal Mohammad and Yusufu Mierali to death for the 2015 Erawan shrine bombing in Bangkok, which killed 20 and injured more than 120. Human rights groups criticized the investigation and proceedings as flawed, but the court upheld the verdict and the defendants plan to appeal.
