Roadie recounts Hendrix’s Fehmarn chaos and the London tragedy that followed
Eric Barrett, Hendrix’s roadie from 1968–1970, details a Fehmarn Isle festival overrun by Hells Angels, Hendrix retreating to his room, and a hostile London crowd the next day; in Barrett’s memoir, Experienced: On the Road with Jimi Hendrix and Beyond, he also discusses Hendrix’s 1970 death, rejects murder theories, and shares intimate backstage memories of the rock legend.
