Two men were arrested in Wuhan after swapping RTX 5080 GPUs from esports hotel PCs with RTX 3060s, hoping to sell the high-end cards. The scheme was uncovered when a power cut revealed tampering, leading staff to investigate and police to recover two GPUs; the suspects had earned about 80,000 yuan from the illicit swaps and face charges.
