Nintendo Switch 2 could get removable battery in Europe to comply with EU rules
Nintendo reportedly plans a Switch 2 revision with a replaceable battery for Europe to comply with EU right-to-repair rules; the update would allow removal of batteries from the console and Joy-Cons in Europe, while Japan and the U.S. would continue selling current-spec units, in line with the EU Battery Regulation requiring portable batteries to be easily removable.
