Final Fantasy 14 Debuts on Nintendo Switch 2 With Free Early Access and Evangelion Crossover
Square Enix is bringing Final Fantasy 14 to Nintendo Switch 2 this August with a month-long free early access; the Switch 2 version uses a separate subscription (Nintendo Switch Online not required), and existing players on other platforms get 50% off the Switch 2 sub. The rollout includes an Evangelion crossover and previews Evercold, the next chapter due January 2027, and the edition includes A Realm Reborn plus Heavensward and Stormblood.
