Wrath of the Lich King Returns as a Time-Compressed Remix in WoW
Blizzard revealed at BlizzCon 2026 that Wrath of the Lich King will receive a limited-time remix in World of Warcraft, a time-accelerated replay where players start at level 1 and race to max level to earn currency for cosmetics, mounts, and pets, with completed characters transferable back to the regular game; the remix, following previous popular events, serves as a nostalgic warm-up for the next expansion, The Last Titan, and is expected in the summer of 2027.
