Colorado confirms measles case, triggers exposure alerts in Broomfield and Westminster
Colorado public health officials have confirmed a measles case in an Adams County resident, marking the second measles case at Broomfield High School. Additional exposure sites include Broomfield’s Chick-fil-A and Westminster’s Chipotle, with exposure dates listed for late February and guidance to monitor symptoms for 21 days post-exposure. Those not vaccinated with MMR are urged to consider vaccination within 72 hours of exposure, and immunoglobulin may help in some cases. Public updates will be posted to the CDPHE measles page, and anyone potentially exposed should contact local health authorities if symptoms develop.
