Biden and Danish PM hold critical talks on Ukraine.
President Biden is inviting allies to Washington to discuss providing military support to Ukraine as fighting intensifies on Russia's front lines. One of the main topics of discussion is Ukraine's demand for American-made F-16 warplanes, with Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Norway indicating their willingness to help. The timeline for delivery of F-16s remains unclear, but the Biden administration has done all it could to provide support to get Kyiv ready. The war in Ukraine has become a political issue for several Republican presidential candidates, while discussions about arming and providing other assistance to Kyiv will be a central focus at the NATO summit in July.
