Two dead in Queens rowhouse blast as gunman is shot by police
Two people were found dead inside a Far Rockaway rowhome after a midday explosion; authorities say 33-year-old Kegan Thomas emerged with a large shotgun, refused to drop it, and was shot by police, later being hospitalized in critical but stable condition. His wife had described concerns about a history of mental illness, though police later said he had no documented mental illness in their records.
