Rabies alert issued after baby goats test positive at NC mobile petting zoo
North Carolina health officials issued a rabies alert after several baby goats at Farm Adventures' mobile petting zoo tested positive for rabies; four goats were euthanized, and anyone who touched goats at Farm Adventures locations or off-site events between July 28 and Aug. 27 should contact their local health department to determine if post-exposure medication is needed as investigations continue.
