Nine Antifa Defendants Convicted in Fort Worth Prairieland Detention Center Attack
Nine North Texas Antifa cell members were convicted by a federal jury in Fort Worth for rioting, weapons and explosives offenses, providing material support to terrorists, obstruction, and attempted murder of an Alvarado police officer and correctional officers during the July 4, 2025 attack on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center. The verdicts cover riot, conspiracy to use and carry explosives, attempted murder of officers, and related counts; several co-defendants had previously pled guilty. Sentencing hearings are pending with penalties ranging from decades to life in federal prison. The case involved stockpiling firearms, encrypted chats, and coordinated planning, with the FBI, ICE, ATF and local agencies leading the investigation.
