Raja Jackson pleads no-contest in brutal pro-wrestling assault
Raja Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, struck a plea deal after a brutal assault on pro wrestler Syko Stu at a Los Angeles event. He pled no-contest to a felony count of battery with serious bodily injury and admitted to two special allegations (personal infliction of great bodily injury and engaging in violent conduct). A sentencing date is set for June 22, with an anticipated sentence of 90 days in county jail, $81,703.38 in restitution, and two years of formal probation. The attack occurred when Jackson interfered in a match, slammed Syko Stu, and threw more than 20 punches; Stu required hospital treatment for jaw trauma, a maxilla fracture, and tooth loss.
